Skiing

The Pieniny Mountains are not the Alps, but you can still enjoy skiing here. In Szczawnica there is Palenica, with three ski runs – one for beginners, one family-friendly and one slightly more demanding. In the neighbouring village of Jaworki there is also a very well-organised ski resort

If you would like to ski in the Tatras, it takes a little over an hour by car to reach Slovak Tatranská Lomnica or our Polish Zakopane.
