Siedlisko pod Szczerbakiem

From up here, everything seems smaller. Global challenges and everyday problems — and from our hill, even the Dunajec River and Szczawnica. It was here, in our place of family peace, 600 m above sea level in the buffer zone of the Poprad Landscape Park, that I bought a small cottage on a modest plot from Mr. Stanisław several years ago. Gradually, I bought the neighbouring land, connected electricity and expanded the house, which became a spacious place to relax for 10 people — my family, friends and friends of those friends. If it turns out that there is not enough space in the house, it is possible to put up a tent in the half-hectare garden enclosed with solid fencing panels.

The garden offers complete privacy and creates a unique space that we are always happy to return to whenever we have the chance. Because how could you not enjoy it, when there are spacious terraces with comfortable armchairs and sun loungers, a sauna, a garden hot tub, double hammocks, a barbecue and pizza oven, a fire pit, a Pieniny-style gazebo, and even a summer kitchen with hotplates — and just beyond the fence, beautiful hiking and cycling trails of the Beskid Sądecki and the Pieniny Mountains. There is also a chance for a hot coffee on the terrace while the children play on the boules court, in the wooden playhouse or draw on the wall with chalk. And with your coffee, a panoramic view. Of the Pieniny Mountains, the Beskid Sądecki, Szczawnica, the meandering Dunajec River and the Tatras in the distance.
